Resin Transfer Moulding

In the resin transfer moulding process, resin and catalyst are pumped into a mixing chamber and then into a heated mould that contains reinforcing material.

Heat from the mould cures the composite material.

When it has hardened sufficiently, the composite material is ejected from the mould.

The resin transfer moulding process is one of a series of animations that describe plastic forming processes.
