The navigation buttons and hyperlinks on the Design and Technology Process diagram enable students to navigate around the software to information, animations and exercises.

When the software is loaded onto an interactive whiteboard in a workshop, students use only the buttons and links on the interactive white board. They do not need to touch the computer that the software is loaded onto. The computer can therefore be kept in a clean, dust free environment.
