The Plastics Notes and Animation package gives students a detailed description of plastic materials and processes.  The animations are part of our Design and Resistant Materials Technology package for GCSE, however, they are also suitable for Key Stage 3 pupils.

Key Stage 3 pupils.  The animations are intended to teach KS3 pupils about some of the plastic materials and processes used in schools, colleges and in industry.

Key Stage 4 pupils.  As knowledge of materials and materials processing techniques is one of the basic building blocks of any design and technology education, the ability to recognise plastic materials and to know how they were probably formed is an essential element of a design and technology education.  Knowledge of materials and how they may be processed is a specification for OCR, AQA, WJEC and Edexcel D&T: Product  Design and D&T: Resistant Materials Technology GCSE courses.
