The KS3 / KS4 Design and Technology software bundle contains everything that we produce.
The software bundle consists of:

- KS4 Design and Resistant Materials Technology (55MB)
Together, the KS3 Design and Technology and KS4 Design and Resistant Materials Technology make a very useful and economical software bundle for teaching and learning D&T.
Economical
Buying our software licences involves a one-off payment. The software is not time constrained and may be used for years to come.
Updates are supplied free of charge for the first year after purchase of the licence. If required, additional years of updates may be purchesed for a small annual charge.
Content
The KS3 Design and Technology software package is updated regularly with new D&T notes, animations and exercises. It is rapidly developing into a comprehensive KS3 and KS4 D&T package, focusing on designing and making using resistant materials.
The KS3 D&T software contains all our latest materials including:
- a large design section explaining and demonstrating topics in the KS3 specification
- a technology section that explains concepts and processes with notes, animations and photographs
- design and make assignments (DMAs)
- focused practical tasks (FPTs)
- exercises for class work and homework
The KS4 Design and Resistant Materials Technology software has many of the animations in the KS3 package but it also has over two hundred:
- design exercises
- design analysis exercises
- problem solving exercises
- technology exercises
intended to give students a broader exposure to D&T problems than is normally possible through design and make assignments.
Learning
Where ever appropriate, D&T theory is taught using animations.
Animations make learning easier, more interesting and have the advantage that they can be played over and over again until a topic is understood and remembered.

The software may be used for:
- individual learning using a computer
- class teaching using an interactive white board
- worksheets may be printed for classwork and homework.
