Teachers using KS3 D&T on interactive white boards

Our digital worksheets and project guides can be used on Interactive White Boards and on computers or they can be printed and used as normal worksheets.
Many of the worksheets, FPTs and DMAs have animations that introduces the topic.

Used on Interactive White Boards

Teacher can show the worksheet and animation on an Interactive White Board.  Students answer the questions on paper.

Used on computers

Students complete worksheets on their computers and print the finished exercises for their records and for assessment.  If used as homework, students can email their answers to their teachers.  (Teachers can email the homework to students).

Printed and used as paper worksheets.

Animations and multiple choice fields will not work on paper worksheets, however most can be printed and used as normal worksheets, especially if the question is also shown on an Interactive White Board.

Used as a DMA introduction and FPT project guide

Design and Make Assignments (DMAs) can be introduced by displaying the design brief, specification and introductory animation on an Interactive White Board.  The DMA may be printed and issued to students, or students may copy the information off an Interactive White Board or print it from their computers.

Focused Practical Tasks (FPTs) have step-by-step guides for teachers and pupils.  FTP guides may be printed and issued to students and should be displayed on an Interactive White Board.  The task may be introduced on an Interactive White Board, then teachers and students can follow the step-by-step guide to complete the task.
